Lambert Homer (1917-1972) is one of the most famous inlay artists of his period. His work is intricate and modern, yet mimics the work of prehistoric Native Americans of the Southwest. He was the first artist to use the Gan Dancer in jewelry design. Furthermore, Homer collaborated with other famous names of his day including Leo Poblano and Charlie Bitsui. His work is still renowned for its craftsmanship.
